Why Whispered?

Whispered grew out of more than twelve years of experience in digital innovation, from building custom solutions to working on large-scale digitalisation and automation within a major Dutch bank.

Over those years, one pattern became increasingly clear: organizations constantly feel the pressure to innovate. Today it’s called AI, yesterday it was digitalisation, and tomorrow it will be something else. But technology only delivers value when it’s applied within a well-understood context. Too often, new solutions are introduced without a clear understanding of how work is actually done, where it breaks down, or what problem is truly being solved.

That said, AI is, since the arrival of the internet, the technology with the greatest potential impact, provided it is applied at the right moment and in the right place within your work.

Our mission is to help organizations apply innovation, automation, and AI with clarity and intent. That starts with the work itself, not with the hype.

The name “Whispered” comes from my time as a consultant at ABN AMRO. In my work, I helped management reduce complexity to clear choices, like quietly whispering what truly matters. To me, AI plays the same role: providing direction without taking over the work or the responsibility.
